New packaging preserves the environment

With massive approval of customers, Ecil Met Tec implemented its new system of packaging for expendable made of cardboard tubes. Aligning itself with the trends of environmental preservation, the new system replaces the wooden pallets and metal pallets of corrugated cardboard boxes for plastic film.
SENDE (Engineering), DESED (Production) and SEMAN (Maintenance) worked together in this project.

According to Robson Vanderlei, one of those responsible for this new system’s implementation, the biggest challenge was to develop resistant pallets whose cost was able to be compared to the old system. "But we also had to develop process equipment where the applied labour also had an inexpensive cost." The solution for the metal pallets came from the use of resistant hollow sections market standards, and as for the production process, it has been acquired a new automated system especially designed for the needs of our products.

From the point of view of environmental preservation, besides avoiding cutting trees (both for old pallets as well as for cardboard boxes), you can recycle not only all the new metal pallets as well as plastic.
