1999 • The Metrology laboratory becomes also accredited in the field of electricity by INMETRO.

2002 • Transformation of Ecil Met Tec - Minas Gerais into Ecil Met Tec Produtos Especiais Ltda. (10/01/2002).
Ecil Produtos and Ecil Met Tec had their Quality Management Systems certified in conformity with ISO 9001:2000, being two of the first companies in the sector to hold it.
2005 • Ecil becomes international with the purchase of the majority of the stocks of Reliacheck Manufacturing Inc., Ohio, USA.
Ecil Met Tec Produtos Especiais is transferred from Santana do Paraíso - Minas Gerais to São Roque - São Paulo (07/01/2005).
2008 • Ecil Met Tec Produtos Especiais is transferred from São Roque - SP to Piedade - SP (09/19/2008).
